Q: What's the cheapest place I can buy a BMW z4 or 5 series?
I want to buy either a BMW z4 or a 5 series (2006-2007), so I'm trying to find the best offer out there.
A: the best place and I mean you will not find a wider selection for less money is www.cars.com, bought 3 cars through there, 2 of them bmw.
You can try all the rest and compare and you will see what I mean.
Q: Anyone ever install or own a BMW Z4 with subwoofers in the trunk?
I have on 04' Z4 and would love to put some subs in the trunk to fill out the sound. I have never put a system in a convertible and am worried it will not produce good sound with the top up or down. The factory system pretty much rocks as is, but on certain songs with lower bass tracks the factory woofers can't produce. I have looked at both end of the spectums as far as what to put in: was looking at 2 10 inch JL audio W6 V2, with amps, crossovers, etc. I have also looked at just throwing in a 10' amplified bazooka tube. Any thoughts?
A: Hey man forget the amp tube. All you need for a car like that is 1 10" t1 sub in a 3 foot box , with a 700 watt amp. Thats sure to be setting off car alarms as you roll by.
Q: Which is more effective on the BMW Z4: a glass or a mesh wind deflector?
My fiancé recently purchased a BMW Z4 that came with a mesh wind deflector. He prefers the look of a plexiglass wind deflector better, but I'm concerned that it won't be as effective as the mesh deflector in keeping wind out of the cabin. Based on PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, which did you find to be more effective?
A: There's no doubt that the glass is a better deflector. Your also gonna get less noise that way. The mesh is designed to let a certain amount of air pass through, and that will increase your gas mileage but only very slightly. For the comfort and peace, go with the glass.
Q: BMW Z4, 03 plate - Can the airbags be disabled passenger side?
I've recently bought a BMW Z4, 03 plate and although in the book it says the passenger airbags can be disabled for transporting children I can't figure it out!! Can anyone help??
A: There should be a key in the passenger door.

What were the changes and what year/model did it happen in?
A: Yes in 2006 they made a few changes to the front and the rear very subtle.
Q: What makes a Bmw Z4M roadster better then a Bmw Z4 roadster?
One is more expensive then the other and I want to know is there a big difference in them?
A: The main difference in the Z4M and Z4 isn't really the question, about the only thing that is the same is the body and interior for the most part. The M is BMW's motorsport line meaning that the Z4M is pure performance high performance S54 engine 333hp, bigger brakes, better suspension, very much a track inspired car. The Z4M is less road friendly due to the suspension setup, less fuel economical, higher cost to maintain after warranty. The Z4 is still fun to drive and recieves very good fuel mileage while it gives a more comfortable ride but still handles and performs like a BMW.
Q: is it possible to insure a Bmw Z4 or a Audi TT or a Honda S2000 all 2.0litre engines at aged 22years old?
also could i insure a Mazda Mx 5 Roadster coupe 1.8i or Mazda Rx 8 2.0litre

Is there anything you can buy that prevents the wind from blowing around and messing up my hair?

When i was in Germany (bmw capitol, lol) I saw a lot of people -mainly women- with something that looked like glass between the two seats, and i figured that must have something to do with it.

The instruction booklet says nothing. Does anybody know how to do it or of a site with instructions?
It is a BMW Z4 roadster with a hard top, on top of the soft top.
A: there should be 2 bolts inside the front bit, above the sun visors and one on either side at the back, above the windows.
undo these bolts and lift the lid off.
you might need 2 people to lift the lid, to make sure you don't drop it.

Q: How do you remove the headlamp assembly from a BMW Z4? Xenon 2003 3.0i?
Need to replace right side headlamp assembly. Do you have to remove the right front tire and go through the slpash guard? Can you just remove it from behind the cowl inside the engine compartment? Can I swap in a non Zenon (halogen) assembly and convert it to zenon with parts from my broken zenon assy? Thanks!
A: zct is right i m a BMW tech and we use the DIS system to relieve the capacitor charge before working on them, don't get me wrong you can do it you self very carefully, but it seems like you don't have much experience if you don't even know how to get it off, just please be careful it wold be a hell of a way to die.
