A: Just the headlight lenses may not be available, you can check at your BMW dealer. Even if they are they will not be easy to change and somthing else will probably break when you change it. A whole headlight assembly will cost you over a grand though.

A: A used 07 BMW X5 with around 25,000 miles should cost almost $60,000 or slightly less .... Very safe car ... it was rated one of the safest cars to drive recently!

A: Luxury car manufacturers DO offer significant discounts. Discounts are based on demand for a car, not base price.
The X5 is on dealer lots; the dealer I use has 4 on the lot right now. Depending on the demand in your respective area, your negotiating power is going to vary. As a general rule, people haven't been happy with the BMW redesign, so I would assume the dealers are pushing the new models.
Find a local dealer, go to their website, and search their inventory to see what they have available. They're going to want to move anything they have sitting, so your odds of getting a deal are higher if you take an in-stock vehicle. Start negotiating at $500 or $1000 over invoice.
I don't know what dealer allotments are; try calling the dealer and asking.

I have the choise to buy either of them, but for sure caddy escalade is a bit more expensive than the 3.0L BMW X5, but i want you ppl to tell me which one is better. I really like the new design of both veihcles. anyway.?????
A: to choose between the two vehicles listed is very easy. Hands down the BMW. It drives like a car yet is more capable off road than the escalade with it's antiquated all wheel drive system. The caddy has a great engine but she also loves to drink. I know this is hard to believe, but the BMW is a much better value, with it's free maintenance, good gas mileage, good power, capability, luxury, sportiness, safety, and the list goes on.

A: Depends on your weather conditions from where you are from... but I'd say your fathers first choice was the better one. I'd go for the diesel engine.

A: The X5 is not a "better" car than the X3. The X5 is a bigger, more luxurious, and larger towing capacity SAV than the X3 and thus costs more.
Since the X3 is smaller, weighs less, and lower center of gravity, the X3 handles better, better gas mileage, and is faster than the smaller engine X5 (same engine, but X3 weighs less and is therefore faster). If you get the larger X5 Engine it will be faster after 60mph but 0-60 is the same.
Do you need the space? Get an X5.
Are you going to tow a lot? Get an X5.
Do you need 3rd row seating? Get an X5.
Do you want a more luxurious interior (This was the hardest part for me, I would spend an extra 5k to have a better interior X3)? Get an X5
Better re-sale value (with this in mind it makes the price difference not that much between the X3 and X5) ? Get an X5.
If you answered no are not big deal to all then get an X3.
If you want better handling and "more fun" driving? Get an X3.
Cheaper car and better gas mileage? get an X3.
If you want a more "European" vehicle? get an X3.
You want European Delivery (I highly recommend)? get an X3.
I got an X3 and I couldn't be happier with my choice, especially when I moved to Germany where parking is hard and lanes are smaller. X3's are sold more than X5s in Europe reverse of the USA.
Either way you will not be disappointed !!! It's a BMW :)

A: the new body style (07-08) is more reliable than the old ones because it has a better engine and they actually have dealt with their electric problems. so i'd say if u got a good deal with one with even more than 50k miles youll be fine.
