Just got a '08 Porsche 911, but since golf clubs don't fit in, I'm thinking of trading in for a BMW 650/M6.
I've been a long time Porsche 911 owners since 2001, and a black Corvette. Once in a while, I'm tired of the cramped 2 seater that has tiny trunk space, and yet ended up getting another 911 this year. The growling engine of the Porsche is just too addictive regardless the overall size of the car. I test drove the BMW 6 series and M6 prior to the Porsche purchase, and loved the ride and spacious interior and trunk space. But it's still a BMW. M6 is a bit poserly. People around me say that 650 or M6 is no match with the brand name Porsche 911. I ended up getting the Vette and 911 at the same time when I got tired of driving a 4 door Mercedes E class sedan for about 10 years. '08 Porsche 911 or BMW 650 or M6? It's a tough one.
A: Check out almost any Mercedes AMG instead. They beat the M out of the water (forget the 650). BMWs are fickle machines with unappealing interiors and flashy exteriors. At least the Porsche is designed for one purpose: pure acceleration. You sacrifice some things for that (as you are well acquainted with the ride stiffness, I'm sure) but you get a car that has its place and that's that. The BMW leaves a lot to be desired.
What I mean is simply this: keep the Porsche, enjoy that growl, and don't bother with the BMW. They're so common.

Q: Which Luxury car ?
2008 Porsche Cayenne S. or Range Rover Supercharged, or BMW M6 Coupe. I am torn between these three cars. I dont know which one I should buy and I don't need all three right now at such a young age.

A: depends what YOU want... a suv or a sports car.If your looking for something that will get good looks and LOTS of attention get the m6... nothing is better than a top of the line sports car... if you decide on the suv id get the range. its sporty looking, fast, and is no doubt top of the line. The porsche is nice but could look somewhat like a cheap car by those who dont actually know.. hope this was useful!
