Q: BMW M5 or BMW M6 both 2008?
The M5 has the BMW body style but the M6 has a unique style that not everyone likes..

A: I STILL PREFER THE BMW M5, IT JUST HAS A BETTER ALL AROUND LOOK, BUT ITS JUST MY OPINION, BUY WHATS YOU LIKE BMW IS A VERY GOOD VEHICLE.

Q: a very interesting rumor about the bmw m6 and m5...?
it is said by bmw that either the 2008 m6 or m5 can be tunned to 1000hp merly by swaping or reprograming it's chip.... is it true? has it been tried? p.s. (please forgive me for my lack of knowledge on tunning...)

A: No chance that a chip swap/reprogram alone can double the power. Whoever told you that needs to put down the crack pipe......

Q: M5 or M6 rims for my 325?
First of all, will they fit? I am getting replicas, not originals, so they should fit right? Which one do you think looks better? A: The M6 wheels are just sweet looking, but I think they will be to wide for a 3 series. You need to go with somthing that has close to the same size tires on it. With regards to rim size, I have put 19s on a 3 series that barly fit, they were still not as wide as the M6 wheels though.

Q: Can you drive in flip flops?
I'm asking this question because I try driving my sister husbands 2008 BMW M5 in flip flops but I had a hard time is this just me or this is a common problem or just me.

A: Driving in flip flops is asking for trouble. You are better off kicking those things off and getting them out of your way! Too many chances for them to get tangled in the accelerator or the brake pedal! Don't drive with flip flops!

Q: Should I buy an M5? Help me find some cool acessories.?
I live in AZ so the convertible M3. Is not a good buy and I want something sporty but also I can use every day. Is there a car I should buy instead of an M5? I don't want to buy Infiniti crap like others have told me because M5 sounds and looks cooler than G whatever or M35 Should I buy an 2008 M5 and dress it up over time so in about 12 years my son can have a pimped out car? What are some awesome body kits and spoilers that could go with it? I am planning to it in the BMW blue or the Dark Greyish color.

A: I'm not sure why you stated that the M3 is not a good buy. Nor why you would imply that it is not sporty. The M5 is a great car, but it is not designed for you to pimp it out. It is already fast, sporty and great. Billions of dollars and some world class engineers ensured that it is a wonderful car. All you are going to do by adding a bunch of boy racer accessories is make it look gaudy and tacky. Your son will be embarrassed by your creation, and you will be irresponsible giving it to a new driver, because it is far too powerful. Also it is generally not a great idea to keep any high performance sports car for 12 years or more. Most top of the line cars are going to be expensive to maintain beyond 8 years or so. Frankly, if you have the money to buy an M3 and then an M5 (which cost $85K+ BTW), I don't see any logic to spending that kind of money, and then keeping the car until it is worthless and old. Most people with that kind of car budget, buy a new car every 1-3 years. That way the car is always in warranty, and looks nice and new. Like one of the other answerers, I suspect you are a teenager, and I doubt you have the money to spend $100K on a car.

Q: BMW M3 - Will there or won't be a sedan version?
I've heard a lot of rumors of one, and I've seen a lot of spy photos that are all at least six months to a year old. But since BMW actually introduced the new (2008) M3, there has been no talk of a sedan... but then again, they haven't said there won't be a sedan version either. I think an M3 sedan would be the ultimate compact sport sedan. I love the M5, but its size takes away from it's "tossability" factor.

A: In case you didn't know, they used to make an E36 M3 4 door from 1997-1998 for the U.S. When the E46 M3 came out in 2001, there was no need for the 4 door because the M5 was BMW's sport sedan. I agree with you about the tossability factor though. Hopefully, BMW will change their mind and decide to build one

Q: Can you drive in flip flops?
I'm asking this question because I try driving my sister husbands 2008 BMW M5 in flip flops but I had a hard time is this just me or this is a common problem or just me.

A: Apparently it isn't illegal to drive in flip flops or in bare feet, but it is dangerous. Its best to have a flat surface on the bottom of your foot to "feel" and apply correct pedal pressure. Having some support around your foot and heel also keeps your foot stable on the pedals and your feet have less chance of slipping out of your shoe (flip flop) or getting caught on the pedals. So, its a safety issue......the choice is yours!
