Q: Should i buy an 2006 EVO ix or wait and by the 2009 BMW M3- Girls answer to please?
However think about the prices the EVO is about 35k and the bimmer is about 54k.
GUYS ANSWER TO PLEASE I NEED EVERYONES ADVICE
A: it depends on what you are looking for they really are not comparable cars other than both being fast. the evo is a pure performance car that is built for handeling and speed its pretty basic. in the 80's and early 90's the BMW M3 was similar to the evo it was a pure bred sports car buid with only speed and handeline in mind no its grown up more civilized and more luxerious if you are looking for a car that is fun to drive on the weekends but can also double as you daily driver then the BMW is the better car (i think its the better car either way) but if you are looking fo a PURELY pleasure car that you will use on the weekends and at the track but wont be taking it to your bosses cocktail party the the evo is definatly more car for the money.
I would also consider the Audi RS4 its a tenth of a secound or so slower that the M3 but it is a little more luxerious(imo) and it is and it is AWD like the evo.
Q: When does the 2008-2009 BMW M3 come out and what will the price be?
A: Due to come out in Aug/Sept timeframe. No official numbers on the cost just yet, but likely to be in the Mid $60k range.
In spite of the 8 cylinders of this model compared to the 6 cyls' of the previous model the 0-60 numbers are very, very close. Considering one can get an e46 model for $20k less then the new is it worth it in performance?
Clearly it's a new sexy and contemporary body style, but are ya getting much under the hood for $20k more?
$20k in Hamann or Dinan aftermarket products will make an e46 much quicker than the new M3, just food for thought.
Q: which is the better car: the new 2008-2009 BMW M3 or the Lexus IS-F?
which one would you buy? serious answers please.
A: The Lexus IS-F looks pretty good however it's Lexus's beginning with sport cars. If you want a great buy with a safe mind go for the M3. BMW has been in production with sports cars a lot longer then Lexus. Only downside to M3 is that it's parts will be more expensive to fix if anything.
Q: a used 2007 BMW M3 or a new 2008 BMW 335 or wait for next year for a new 2009 Cadillac CTS-V???
I just inherited some money which becomes available next year after all the red tape and I want to buy a new car. I drove the BMW 335 and M3 already and like the way they drive but for the same price I can get a Caddy CTS-V with a 505hp V8 engine and it looks wayyyyyyy cooler. Which one should I get?????
A: Although at this time there is only speculation as to the specifics of the CTS-V, I would suggest waiting. My top pick between the BMW 5 series, 3 series and CTS is the 2008 Cadillac CTS hands down. Drive it for yourself. You may also want to consider the Chrysler 300 6.1L or Lexus GS450. Both ranked miles ahead of BMW in quality.
I would suggest staying away from the M3 for sure. That engine is a gem on paper but most blow up within 30k miles, some have even been reported to blow in just 5k miles and require complete rebuilds- cracked blocks is one example of a common problem. On top of that the engine is expensive to replace and requires many hours of expensive labor.
The 5 and 3 series engines are more reliable but have many electrical problems. My advice- go with the CTS-V. The wait will be well worth it. (Plus the CTS looks like a superstar compare to the 5 series with its spread eagle headlamps!)
Q: Should I get a 2009 Scion tc or 2003 BMW M3?
I really like the idea of investing in a new car, however, I am a horsepower man and the M3 offers 333 of them, as opposed to the 160 from the Scion. As well, I also mod cars, and would enjoy working on the Scion, but knowing that I could only squeeze about 300 hp out of that 4 cylinder engine doesn't beat knowing that I could have had 333 to start with. So I need some help. Can someone give me background knowledge on the warranty of a BMW, and how much repair costs are after the warranty expires (that's what im afraid of). Thank you!
A: Hands down, M3.
I'm 19, and can afford to pay my tuition, rent, food, gas, car payments, and insurance for my 2000 M5. Even if it means living off dented cans of raviolis, it is worth every penny. If you are familiar with modifications, I'm sure you can do basic maintenence things yourself, like oil changes, filter changes, tire rotations, etc... For example, when I needed a bearing replaced holding my differential in place, the dealer wanted $1300!! I bought the part from them for $28, and had my uncle and a local mechaninc help me install it. In all I paid under $250 to fix it. So if your willing to do some work yourself, they are affordable.
The M3 is a true sports car, the scion is made for people who watched the fast and furious too many times. And even if you could get 300 HP out of that engine, it would last about 10,000 miles before blowing up. The m3 engine is capable of putting down over 600 HP to the wheels on stock engine components.
Q: A 2005 BMW M3 with 32,000 Miles?
Im looking for bmw m3's and i found a 2005 BMW M3 Competition package with 32,000 miles for $33k. Its from a bmw dealership and it still has warranty till 2009. I cant get extended warranty because the car has exhaust and some rims. Is this worth it? Is 32,000 Miles alot for this car? How do i know if it was abused? The title is clear and its a really good deal bmw is giving me especially when kbb is about $46,000. What do you guys think?
A: With 32.000 miles the engine is not even broke in yet.The M3 is rated one of the best cars on the road.Very few people would buy this car to abuse it in any way or form. With the 3.2 liter engine puting out 333HP the M3 is a safe and quality built car from a company that makes cars to last a very long time.BMW is one of the best built cars ever made. The M3 is worth the money by a long shot.Best of luck.
Q: What car do you currently drive and aspire to get?
1. What car brand/model do you currently drive?
2. What car do you aspire to get and drive in the near future?
3. What car is your DREAM car?
For me it's:
1. Still choosing (thinking of getting a Honda)
2. 2008 BMW M3 or 2009 Nissan GT-R
3. Lamborghini Reventón
What are yours?
A: Current cars are Citroen C2 & C4 coupe
Next cars will be Mercedes CLC & Citroen C5
Dream car is something like a Bentley GT coupe
Q: which car should i be looking at getting?
1. nissan GT-R
2. Lexus IS-F
3. Lexus LFA
4. 2009 BMW m3
I really like the GT-R right now but i'm a girl and i don't know if should be driving this kind of car. Askin ur guys' opinions.
it's not that i don't like hybrids, only reason why i'm considering these cars is because i've been saving for so long and have accumulated $80,000 and i want to treat myself....plz understand. thnx
i can drive stick no worries and as for the condo im living with my bf so he paid for it lol...
A: With my experience, go for the Lexus IS-F. It's the more reliable out of the four. As for the BMW, I'm taking experience with the past M3's.
But, I would also consider where you live when you're making your choice. If you're in an area that gets any amount of snow, avoid the GT-R and the BMW.
Also take into consideration how much registration and insurance is going to cost you. Registration on the BMW is going to be nuts, and the insurance on the GT-R is going to cost you about as much as the car.
Go for the IS-F

A: KBB is always irrelevant, unless it's low trade value. Whatever retail is, it's always irrelevant.
Whatever the low trade-in value is, bet that the dealer still paid less than that. It's just how it works.
What you're asking is if a 4 year old vehicle is worth half of it's original price, to which I would say it's a little high. But the miles are right.
I think the lack of a warranty is a bit of a dealbreaker unless you want it as a club racer and you're going to work on it yourself.
I would ask if you could get the warranty, but cross out everything related to the exhaust and wheels/brakes.
