Q: How is the BMW S54B32 Engine for 2002 M3?
I'm looking to buy a used 2002 BMW M3. The engine has 53000 miles on it. How is the S54B32 engine? Will I have many mechanical problems with this vehicle? Any input would be nice. Thanks!

Q: How much would a 2002 BMW M3 sedan cost?
Sort of looking for a new car, but im not that knowledgable when it comes to them.
Anywho, I'm looking for a decent BMW under 20k, preferably a sedan, possibly a coupe, no earlier year then 2001. Any suggestions and how much they'd cost?
A: There is no 2002 M3 sedan. Without knowing what country you are in, hard to answer this question. I have a 2002 M3 coupe I'm selling and I'm looking for more than $22K in the states. 65000 miles. I think that's a fair price for an M3. There are many websites that will tell you the value based on what area you are in. The E46 M3 (2001-2006) only came as a 2 door coupe or convertible. If you are looking for under $20K (US) around that year and 4 doors then you would want to look for a 330i.
Q: I have a 2002 BMW M3 and the coils just went bad for the 2nd time?
I had my ignition coils changed from the garage in 2006 for free because of a recall. The same thing is happening to my car now. Will BMW back this up or will I have to pay for the same occurrence happening twice?
A: Go back to the dealership for another repair, it is still under warranty if it was replaced under warranty and the problem came back then you likely got a defective part and it should be covered under the factory warranty, if you are told no way then you should consider calling a Lemon Law attorney, Krohn and Moss is the best in the business you can find them on the Internet under Lemon Law. A: If there isnt one n the front or back then no. I know they have them on the 2005 and up 3-series.

I have heard the SMG gear box can be jerky, is this true?

Q: Is the asking price of $25,000 a good price for a 2002 BMW M3?
The car has 98,000 miles on it and it looks very clean.
A: I just did a quick look on autotrader ( SW Florida ). Looks like the coupes are 25-30k with less miles.
The conv are 30-38k
So, it's not bad if a coupe, but you could get one with lower miles.
Q: which one is a better buy, 2003 evo or 2002 Bmw M3?
I can buy a Evo and put bolt on modifications and get 500hp but the interior is crapy or get a M3 and have okay power but interior is amazying but the peroformance parts and everything else is so expense. Do you also think about respect aslo about the car you drive. If you drive a bmw you look very good but not fast but Evo is fast but no class. Tell me what you think
A: I don't know how much a 2002 M3 is going for but you're gonna need to drop in some major money to get it to match a modified EVO.
The EVO will save you money in the long run for modding.
Your choice, go ricer with an EVO but blow away the BMWs. Or go pretentious yuppie with the M3 but lose your @ss in a race with an EVO.
Trust me, I've blown the living crap outta stupid yuppies thinking their BMWs are faster than my EVO. I might look poor, I might look like a ricer.....but when the BMW finally pulls up next to me at the next light....who's looking stupid thinking their car is the bomb when it's really just a slow pretentious car.
Q: Car problem: I have a bad grinding noise from my rear-right tire in my 2002 BMW M3 only when driving forward?
Okay.. so I have a 2002 BMW M3 with 30,000 miles on it. My rear right tire, or in the vicinity of that... I hear a loud grinding noise when driving FORWARD. It seems rotational too... i.e. a sound of... grind..grind...SCREETCH..grind..grind... like it happens at a certain point of rotation. I looked physically at the tire and rotor and nothing seems out of place. When the car is in reverse, the car and that area are perfectly quiet. It is most noticeable in 1st and 2nd gear between 2k and 3.5K rpms where after that its a high pitch noise that is steady, but at lower rpms its a rotational sound. That's the best I can describe it. Please help.
NOTE: The brake pads are not worn, I just did a pad/rotor replacement 2K miles ago.
And it happens when no pressure is applied to the brakes. Just accelerating will do it.
A: Sounds like the brake pads are gone and the wear sensor is rubbing the rotor.
Q: Supercharger in 2002 BMW M3 convertible?
If i put a supercharger in my bmw m3 convertible how fast will my 0-60 time and quarter mile be?
Right now i can do 0-60 in 5.0 sec and do a quarter mile in 13.6 sec
So i will be goin for 333hp to 500hp.
I just need a estimate
A: low 12's to high 11 second runs in the quarter if you can keep tires from roasting

i think instead of doors, put a very nice body kit (if you don't have one) and a nice looking spoiler. O and can't forget rims... but NO LAMBO DOORS

I have stock 18s that came off an m3 and my cousin wants them for his 2002 bmw x5 but we're not sure they'll fit. the x5 is a 3.0. thanks!!
A: The bolt circle is the same. The offset won't be. You might be able to use spacers to make it fit.
BUT the X5 is a much heavier car than an M3. 18s from an M3 might bend if you take the X5 off road or even hit a bad chunk of pavement at speed.

I am looking for the best twin turbo kit out there for a bmw m3.
A: Dont think you can twin turbo it easily, as its an inline six i think. Or is it a V6/ V8? You may be needing a big single turbo. Give any performance shop in your town a call, ask for quotes, the choices are plenty. If the question and desire are genuine, it would make one seriously fast bimmer!

put octane booster in helps a little.
he did it by accident not tryin to be cheap. and it has octane booster in it but doesnt help much. im tryin to see if any1 else has done this to their M3 because WE ARE TRYING TO FIND OUT IF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL GO AWAY or will it have to be serviced by BMW
A: No, just add some octane booster or higher grade fuel.
